About Bharat Vaasi
What is Bharat Vaasi
Bharat Vaasi is a community platform that helps people host, discover, and stay connected to what's happening around them — from a family puja or dinner get-together to neighborhood events, local groups, and community discussions. It brings the personal invitations, RSVPs, and word-of-mouth coordination that used to happen over phone calls and group texts into one place, without losing that personal feel.
Who It's For
Individuals and families who want a simple way to invite friends and relatives to personal celebrations, keep track of RSVPs, and organize the people they care about into groups — sports clubs, learning circles, or a neighborhood squad.
Local organizations — HOAs, religious institutions, cultural associations, and non-profits — who want to publish events, send announcements, and manage their members and teams in one dashboard.
What Features We Offer
- Personal Invitations & RSVPs — create an invitation, invite guests from your contacts, and track who's coming.
- Groups — private circles for friends, family, or activity groups, and team/committee structures for organizations.
- Events — organizations can publish events for people nearby to discover and RSVP to, with support for capacity limits and waitlists.
- Social Feed — ask questions, run polls, and post requests to your local community.
- Announcements — organizations can broadcast updates to people connected to their events and groups.
Why We Use SMS
Many of the people you invite — a family member, a neighbor, an old friend — aren't Bharat Vaasi users yet. SMS lets us deliver an invitation or RSVP link directly to them the moment you send it, without requiring them to create an account first. It's the most reliable way to reach someone who just needs to see one message and tap one link.
We only send a message when you take an action that requires it (like inviting a guest), and you're always shown what's about to be sent before it goes out. Standard carrier terms apply — message and data rates may apply, and any recipient can reply STOP to opt out at any time. See our Terms and Conditions for the full messaging terms.
